Writing & copywriting

Put bluntly, ‘copywriting’ means writing in order to sell something. And we do a lot of that. But we also help people with other material like reports, scripts, e-books and books.

Whatever it is, we like turning words that are a little dry or confusing into something that’s clear and engaging. Sound good? Click on the link below to find out more.

Concept layouts

Words often need a visual context - to be supported (or driven by) images and other design bibs and bobs. Wordmix is handy for getting the big picture of what goes where into a layout so you can see how it all works together (generally a simple MS Word document converted to a PDF).

For many of our clients these concept layouts have been enough to send to a graphic designer to finish off and print, or to a web builder to translate into digi-speak. Go to our Portfolio page to see some layouts we’ve done. Or read more about how our concept layout service by clicking on the link below….

Marketing plans, etc.

Why have a marketing plan? To impress your bank manager? To get your boss off your back? At wordmix, we believer marketing plans should be helpful to you – so you know what you want and the best way to get there.

Once the plan is done, we also have some tricks for how to keep the plan ALIVE – not stuck in some folder gathering dust. All plans need a set of lungs and some snacks, so it can breathe, move forward and grow. And so will yours.

Cartoons & illustrations

Fred R. Barnard was wrong when he wrote “A picture is worth a thousand words.” We think it’s a bit of a generalisation. Particularly when we’ve seen the same photo library image on three other websites.

But having your own unique picture, carefully crafted to convey something specific about you and what you want to say? Now that’s worth thinking about.
